I visited the South Yorkshire County Records Office in Sheffield and can confirm that W 332 (pictured recently in MOTOR SPORT, was a 12 h.p. Decauville with dark green Tonneau body. It was registered by a Mr. W. Cook of the Tinsley Steel and Iron Works on 26th July 1904. I cannot confirm the Alldays and Onions, as the records from 1905 onwards until the 1930s are no longer available, believed by the curator to have been destroyed in the war; certainly it is not W6, since that was a 24 h.p. Fiat. Also in she records office are the complete Rotherham registration records as well as those from Barnsley from 1913 onwards. I am happy to assist anyone who wishes to have a number from these groups looked up. As a Morgan historian, I would be very interested to know where the Worcestershire records are housed, if they are still extant.

On the subject of Morgans, I have several photographs taken in 1922 at Brooklands with an interesting Morgan in the background. Registered AB 9601, it has a water cooled 90 bore o.h.v. JAP engine, an early Aero style body, in what may be polished aluminium, and in one photograph, the unusual wrap-around windscreen can be seen, presumably made of celluloid. Can anyone tell me more about it?
