Brooklands

It is very satisfactory to know that memories of Brooklands Track remain undiminished as the years slip by. The motor-cyclists held their annual Brooklands Re-Union last month, and that for car enthusiasts, originated by Boddy and Gahagan, takes place at Weybridge on the last Saturday in June—details next month. Three books have been written about the old Track, it has been mentioned in fiction and in at least one play, films about it are still shown, and now a roughly half-scale replica of part of it is being constructed, as a film mock-up, somewhere in the South of England.
