Star-studded Silverstone

A huge galaxy of talent will assemble at Silverstone on Saturday, May 2nd, for the 11th International Trophy Meeting. The 50-lap Trophy race has entries from B R.M. for Flockhart and Moss, Ferrari for Brooks and Phil Hill, the new DBR4/250 Aston for Salvadori and Shelby, Cooper for Brabham and Gregory, and Lotus for Hill and Pete Lovely. Four 250F Maseratis are entered. The pick of English F.2 cars will also run in this race. Two sports-car races, a G.T. and saloon-car race will complete programme. Four Volvos are entered in the saloon-car race,  European Touring Champion Gunnar Andersson as one of drivers. Stirling Moss will drive an Aston Martin DB4 in the G.T. race. The meeting commences at 10.15 am.
