Recognition of "Motor Sport" by the "Sunday Times"

The Sunday Times dated April 8th carried an article by Godfrey Smith entitled “Love of Your Life,” which showed in humorous manner how much the enthusiast loves his car. Many recent small advertisements and Eric Lister’s “Cars I Have Owned” article were quoted to prove the point and, although there was no direct reference, this makes it clear that the magazine of which Mr. Smith writes — “Page after page of type, unrelieved by headline or paragraph . . . There is no need for any fancy Fleet Street devices to catch the attention; the editor knows his readers will devour every word.” — is, indeed, Motor Sport.
