INIay I congratulate you on a most excellent publication. In your March issue you refer to ” a very smart Aluminium 19.6 ‘ Crossley.” Do you think you have slipped slightly in nomenclature ? The sports model was the “20/70.” I am wondering if this car could possibly be ND 7772? If so, I had it from 1926-30 (I was, I believe, the first owner, ex-demonstration model). 1 have

many photographs of this car and also its actual two-page write up in the Antocar of August 7th, 1926. 1 would let the present owner have it for perusal if it is the same car. As far as I know it was the only polished aluminium ” 20/70 ” built at that time.

It is quite possible that the car we saw at Silverstone was the car Mr. Rowe refers to and if its owner sees this we can forward letters.—En.]
