The Motor Racing Legends series for pre-war sportscars will visit Assen in the Netherlands.

Better known as a motorbike track, the circuit’s open and flowing nature is likely to be very popular with the bumper fields that series founder Duncan Wiltshire is expecting.

The Assen races will be held over the weekend of August 14-15 during the British Classic Car Festival.

The series opens at Donington Park on May 1-3, and will include the Jan Wellem event at the Niirburgring (June 25-27) and the Spa Classic Six Hours meeting (September 17-19).
