Bill Mason
Bill Mason, the man who became renowned for bringing Motorsport to the masses through his remarkable films, died last month at the age of 86.
From 1943 to ’56, Bill worked for the Shell Film Unit, and he made such classics as Le Mans 1952, Mille Miglia (including his own in-car footage from a competing Ferrari 166), The Titans, and many more.
He also worked for BP (History of the Motor Car) and for Daimler-Benz AG.
