Lindsay's HWM/ALTA

I thought there was something familiar in the Alan Smith study of a so-called Le Mans Replica Frazer-Nash at Goodwood in 1954( January 2000). Actually, it is of my late father, Patrick Lindsay, driving his first racing car — an ex-Formula 2 HWM/Alta. He later rearranged the Duke’s flower beds on the outside of Woodcote, damaging the car rather seriously, sold it for the price of its trailer and promised his wife-to-be, my mother, that he would give up racing… Excellent pictures though!
