Sir,

I have found your series on circuits from the past fascinating. I have recently bought a copy of a 1963 book by Hans Tanner, titled Handbook of Grand Prix Cars Post War to Present.

It has a section on circuits and the author has included some lesser known circuits so enthusiasts can gain an idea of some of the unusual locations found in GP racing.

Among the circuits listed are: Crystal Palace(!), Aintree, Albi, Charterhall, Chimay, Comminges and Madgascar. Apart from the British circuits, I know next to nothing of the others; could they be added to the list for future visits? A visit to Madagascar should be a good story in itself.

Thank you for a marvellous magazine.
