Happy Anniversary

Sir,

I note with interest that MOTOR SPORT celebrates its 75th Birthday soon. I well remember the 50th anniversary in ’74, having started advertising with you the year previously (though my readership goes back to 1959, whilst still at school). In fact, I may be your longest standing continuous advertiser (though it’s just possible that Adrian Hamilton may contest this, or were Brian Classic in recent issues, he would certainly win the title).

Anyway, congratulations in advance – here’s to the next 25 years. There are plenty of sprightly octagenarians around; time will tell if I’ll be among them in 2024, still featuring in your pages!
