Shire Albums

Shire Publications of Princes Risborough has added Nos 289 and 292 to the motoring titles in its attractive Shire Albums series. The first is a discourse on the Citroen, by Jonathan Wood. It brings one bang up to date on these individualistic cars, and devotes eight pages to the splendid 2CV and subsequent two-cylinder models. The pedal and electric Citroens, intended for children, are remembered, but not the tin-plate toys. It is all done in the expected excellent style, with very good pictures. Shire No 292 is Nick Georgano’s equally useful book on Bentleys. He packs much into his 32 pages, including racing Bentleys, and again the book is right up to date. Both sell for just £2.25.
