The new owner of the 1934 Olympia Show model Lagonda Rapide Gurney Nutting saloon (registration US 9772) seeks the missing history of the car. which was shipped to the USA in the early Sixties. It also appeared at the 1934 Scottish Show, and its last UK owner was a Mr L Potter.

The remains of a Series LV Standard have been found on a farm and details are required.

Another reader wants any information about Herbert Lomas of Manchester. who built ambulance bodies on 1937-38 Austin chassis, but whose records did not survive recent receivership.

Stuart Bennett of 56 Cabrera Avenue, Virginia Water, Surrey GU25 4HA has taken over the 8/18 Talbot Register and asks owners to contact him. Of the 255 built, only 11 have so far surfaced. WB
