This year marks the Centenary of the birth of Sir Geoffrey de Havilland, who founded the great de Havilland Aeroplane Company. To celebrate this, the De Havilland Moth Club is staging a visit to many DH-related sites over the weekend of July 2nd-4th. The start will be from Chester aerodrome on the Friday, flying by Moths or other DH aeroplanes to Hatfield aerodrome on the Saturday for a big DH-orientated gathering, while on the Sunday the aviators will descend on hallowed territory at the RAE, Farnborough. Details from: The Secretary, The DH Moth Club, Tangmere, 16, Thatchers Drive, Maidenhead, Berkshire, SL6 3PW; membership of which Club, which publishes an excellent magazine, Enterprise, costs £5 a year. The Club devotes its activities to the following DH aeroplanes — types 51, 53, 60 (of course!), 80, 82, 83, 84, 85,06, 87, 88, 89, 90, and 94. It has 900 members, including Victor Gauntlets with his Tiger and Leopard, the 900th being Miss Olivia de Havilland, no less. On August 22nd the Club intends to repeat its flying visit to Woburn Abbey. — W.B
