Dudley Coram

Sadly we must report, too, the death of Dudley Coram, Executive President of the Aston Martin Owners Club, who ran a motor business with Gordon England in the 1930s and raced with him at Brooklands. Dudley became the most stalwart force behind the AMOC after he, Mortimer Goodall and Richard Stallebrass had reformed the Club after the War. He wrote an excellent book on Aston Martin, was responsible for instigating the Martini Trophy Race and last year sprang to the support of Aston Martin in their crisis. His name is perpetuated in a corner at Snetterton, the circuit he helped pioneer.
