Ideal pairs III

The selection of cars under the above heading in MOTOR SPORT is most interesting and I commend the Editor’s own choice. Incidentally, a 30/98 is offered for sale at £6,000 in the same issue.

My own pair has been my sole means of transport for upwards of 10 years, the 3-litre Bentley being in almost daily use. On those occasions when a bit more speed and protection from the elements is desirable the LG 45 Lagonda is quite a good substitute for pore vintage motoring.
