De-restriction of motorways III

Sir,

I would like to point out that, unless I am mistaken, the capital of the Netherlands is the Hague, and not Amsterdam. I reckon, of course, that to someone who is prepared to race about Europe in such an absurd manner, the situation might not be very important.

I am the happy owner of a (1954) Bentley R-type Continental, 4.9-litre drophead coupé by Park Ward. It has covered 150,000 miles and couldn’t behave more sweetly. This is my only car. Although its top speed is about 115 m.p.h., I prefer travelling somewhat more slowly. There is the whisper of the tyres on the road, the gentle breeze of fresh air, I can listen to Mozart or Paderewski, and pay a little attention to the countryside, or to the sweet girl I might have sitting next to me.

I am very fond of your magazine.
