ARGENTINE GRAND PRIX SHOWING TREMENDOUS FORM in the Argentine Grand Prix at Buenos Aires Autodrome was Clay Regazzoni, making his public debut for the Marlboro BRM team. He set fastest lap in practice and led the first 28 laps before slowing with tyre trouble. Here he is chased by Emerson Fittipaldi’s Lotus 72, which went on to win, and Jackie Stewart’s Tyrrell. Below is pictured Wilson Fittipaldi in the works Brabham BT37 (No. 12). Here the champion’s brother passes Howden Ganley’s Frank Williams Iso on his way to sixth position and his first ever world championship point. Ganley’s car was delayed at the start with jammed throttle slides and later made several pit stops.
