We have already reviewed such surveys of the 1969 competition season as the “Autocourse” annual but for comprehensive but inexpensive coverage, in the current conventional form of grid positions with practice lap times, results, fastest lap and lists of retirements to back up the text, this is a very adequate book. It has plenty of topical pictures and while mainly concerned with last year’s F1 races, has chapters about Racing into the Seventies, Jackie Stewart, the Tasman races, F2, F3, F5000, etc.
