A Hudson-Essex Discovery
Sir,
I am sure you will be pleased to hear that another vintage car has been saved from its grave. A chance remark to a garage mechanic led to a 1929 Hudson Essex saloon. Having convinced the owner of my love for old cars and the fact that I was not trying to buy a gilt-edge security as cheaply as possible, he parted with the car at the end of last year. He bought the car from Hudsons in 1929 and it has done 94,000 miles since new. I would appreciate it if present owners of this model would contact me.
