A Useful Flask

Over 80 per cent. of British competitors in the Monte Carlo Rally carried the new Vacco Master vacuum flasks. These flasks incorporate a polythene screw-on cap which opens or closes with a single twist and cannot come off inadvertently. This cap is “washable, hygienic and tasteless,” guarantee the makers, and as in some independent research carried out last year over 50 per cent. criticised the stoppers of their vacuum flasks, it seems that these Vacco flasks fulfil a long-felt need. They come in three versions, all with non-drip pourers—the T.F.2 tea flask with built-in milk bottle, the gaily-striped V.M.S. and the smart V.M.M. in “metalustre” shining finish. All hold 16 fluid ounces and they cost, respectively, 9s. 3d., 7s. 6d. and 7s. 6d. inclusive of p.t. The Newhaven factory of Vacco Ltd. is doing overtime to make them—ask for Vacco when you buy your next vacuum flask. — W. B.
