In 1932 the result was as follows : 1, Bob Carey, 815 points ; 2, Fred Frame, 710 points ; 3, Howard Wilcox, 610 points ; 4, Russel Snowberger, 440 points ; 5, Bill Cummings, 430 points. In the last race of the

year, at Oakland, Bill Cummings set up a new record for 150 miles on a dirt-track, covering the distance in 1 hour, 39 minutes, 29 4/5 seconds, roughly 90 m.p.h.
