Freddy Rousselle

Belgian racer Freddy Rousselle, who has died aged 89, made an impact on the tough Liège-Rome-Liège rally, finishing sixth in 1955 and earning a works Triumph drive as a result. His most notable results were successive fourth places at Le Mans in the Écurie Nationale Belge D-type Jaguar, with team principal Jacques Swaters in 1956 and journalist Paul Frère the following year.

Picko Troberg

Per-Olov ‘Picko’ Troberg, who has died at the age of 78, was one of the mainstays of Swedish motor sport for half a century. The winner of multiple titles in his homeland, he won the prestigious Monza Lotteria F3 race in 1965 and also raced sports cars at world championship level. His team then played a major role in helping young Swedish drivers, including Rickard Rydell and Mattias Ekstrom.
