Just received my April copy of Motor Sport and was delighted and surprised to read about Mike Thackwell. It’s been years since I had heard or read anything about him. I do remember the white ‘T’ on the red helmet as well as his ability to drive very well just about anything he laid his hands on.

How refreshing to learn he is a man of principle. It’s quite rare to find someone like him in the world we live in today. Almost anything or anyone is for sale given the right opportunity and the right amount of money.

Great to hear that he is doing well in his present endeavours.
