Silverstone to honour Gethin

Peter Gethin, who died last year, will be remembered at Silverstone in both May and July this year. At the Silverstone Classic (July 2022), the new Formula 2/ Formula 5000 races will run for the Peter Gethin Trophy.

Meanwhile, there will be a memorial celebration of his life and racing career at the BRDC Clubhouse at Silverstone on Friday May 18 from 3pm. Some of the cars Gethin raced will be on display and the circuit will be busy with testing prior to the HSCC’s International Trophy meeting that weekend.
