Brooklands film planned

The Brooklands era will be central to the plot of a feature film due for release in 2007. Although a work of fiction, the film will feature the star drivers and cars from Brooklands.

The racing scenes will be recreated on a purpose-built set. Some filming is likely to take place at Montlhéry, too.

Producer Andrew Smith said: “Brooklands is the spiritual home of modern motorsport. What happened there literally changed our world.”
