Hotchkiss association

Arising from my recent article about the performances of vintage and PVT cars, I have been reminded that there is a British Hotchkiss Society, which caters for all cars of this make, including the outstanding Paris-Nice models, of which The Autocar timed a 1935 saloon at well over 90mph.

The Society has members from Europe, New England, Canada and Australia.

Michael Scott, who informed me of this, has a 1938 3.5-litre Paris-Nice Mondane saloon, and the Society Secretary is Michael Edwards, whose 1904 C-type Hotchkiss is a well-known Brighton Run car, thought to be the oldest of all known surviving cars of this make.
