One of the highlights of the Sandown Park International Collectors Car Fair on June 19/20 will be a display of James Hunt’s racing cars, including the McLaren M23 which he guided to the 1976 World Championship.

Hunt himself will be present at the event on the 20th.

The Sandown Exhibition Centre is adjacent to the racecourse in Esher, Surrey. This event is now Europe’s largest classic car buy-and-sell fair, and organiser Motor Exhibitions confidently anticipates that over 600 classics will be available for perusal and, if the mood takes you, purchase.

Adult admission is £5 daily, or £9 for the weekend. It’s even cheaper if you pre-book. Details from the organiser on 0844-201044. OAPs and 8-15 year-olds will be charged £2.50 daily, but accompanied under-8s are admitted free.
