Entries have come in well for the MCC’s ambitious End-to-End Trial, on June 1/3. It takes in some famous trials sections, such as Huystyn, Ruses Mill, Windout, Park Rash, etc. In the last Exeter Trial best car performance was made by G Marshall (Ford Special). First Class Awards were won by 20 car drivers and 15 motorcyclists, Second Class Awards by 31 car drivers, 28 riders, and Third-Class Awards by 35 drivers, 15 riders. Afterwards 213 sat down to dinner at the finish hotel. The MCC is now 93 years young and deserves the support of all of us. Membership Secretary: M D Furse, 405 Chartridge Lane. From the April issue of the Morgan Three-Wheeler Club’s Bulletin I am glad to note that the very fast ex-Ron Horton/Robin Jackson Morgan survives, about which Mr Horton told me anecdotes many years ago; its rev-counter is thought to have come from a Bentley. W B

Now you can get your MG RV8 in three sizes. Rover builds them at a scale of 1:1, while R A E Models offer you the choice of 1/20 or the more usual 1/43 for collectors. Ready-built and painted, the larger size costs £198 and the smaller £49.80. If you’d rather get your fingers oily, or rather super-gluey, you can build them for £75 or £22 respectively.

Back-dating in the same marque, R A E also do the rare 18/80 MG in both four-seater and two-seater variants at around £52.95 and £23.95. Triumph’s TR7 convertible has also joined the range at similar prices. G C
