(approx. 13 laps) round the Thruxton circuit to raise money for the Jimmy Savile Stoke Mandeville Spinal Building Appeal Fund. Sponsorship is sought on the basis of each kilometre completed by the car,

The idea for the event. which is being organised and run by the unit crews themselves, stemmed from the tragic accident to Philip Lloyd in a PRS F. Ford at Mallory Park last year. Lloyd is left paralysed and at present confined to Stoke Mandeville. The accident occurred at a BARC meeting and a BARC rescue unit crew was involved. — C.R.
