British the Ultimate

Sir,

I am a sixteen-year-old schoolboy car fanatic who, like so many other people, have dreams of owning some sort of exotic machine. Some people would go for a Rolls or Mercedes, but my choice would be a stylish British Classic, the Aston Martin V8 which, in my opinion, has no competitors. It’s elegant, even beautiful and, without sounding like a glossy mag. advertisement, good-looking at almost every angle.

But, after saying so much in favour of the Aston, I must confess I never thought they would come through their recent financial crisis. I only hope that in the future they manage to get the success that they deserve.

Even the latest Camargue, which was featured in the April MOTOR SPORT, could not compare favourably with my ultimate car.
