Corgi have an unusual model in No. 259 of their Corgi Toys series, this being a Citroen DS with Henri Chapron 2+2 coupe body, having openable doors and boot and tip-up seats, together with the usual Corgi features and Cibie 4-element quartz-iodine headlamps represented by amber-coloured jewelled lights. A model of a car with body by a specialist body-builder is an interesting innovation and the 4 in.-long Corgi Citroen should find many owners at its U.K. retail price of 7s. 3d.

There is also a new Corgi car-transporter in the Corgi Major series (No. 1138), consisting of an American Ford M-series tilt-cab tractor and Carrimore Mk. IV semi-trailer. The twin rear axles carry wheels with single tyres, which in this case is authentic, and the cab tilts to reveal a detailed die-cast engine with 6-blade fan. Measuring 10 3/4 in., this transporter costs 25s., or 55s. as a gift set (No. 41) with six cars.—W.B.
