A Somerset breaker is reported as harbouring half a dozen Austin 7s, two Trojans, a Standard Avon, a bull-nose Morris and an Essex Super Six coupe. The racing McEvoy Star may soon undergo restoration. On the subject of Daimlers, a Light Straight-8 with Charlesworth body, used by an old lady, for shopping, has changed hands after 10,000 miles for £150, and someone else has bought a 1937 4-litre straight-8 with Windover body, owned by a country doctor, for £50.
