Mini-matters

Sir,

After reading an article in a local paper, I must come to the derice of the Morris Mini-Minor.

I travel on average 500 miles a week and have so far travelled 20,000 miles plus. I have never had a thing go wrong, and the tyres are good for another 10,000. I travel at 55 to 66 mph almost all the time and keep my tyre pressures two or three pounds above the recommendation. Like other pleased mini-owners I have “told” hundreds. There are just not enough words to praise the qualities of the “mini”.

incidentally, the performance is still at its peak.

I am, Yours, etc.,

RH Tyler. Market Drayton.

(When the Editorial Mini the Morris is on form and its tyres at the correct pressure I enjoy it enormously. But at 26,500 miles it is again a prey to car thieves, because the “improved” window lock has fallen off the off-side front window, and, having only the first-stage of Interior Silent Travel; it is very tiring due to high noise level on long runs.-Ed)
