Readers may remember that we were so impressed by Peter Darley’s photographs that we carried a gallery of them. The reason they’re significant (apart from simply being good images) is that Colin Chapman asked Darley to document the team’s doings, and for the next few years Darley captured not only Clark, Rindt and Hill but also all the others who make up a team at testing and races. Jim Clark, the core of this book, features over and over, but the unguarded nature of the images keeps the interest up, while Darley’s captions (there is no text) name everyone in shot very useful for us!
