Montlhery memorial meeting

Whatever Montlhery’s future, and pray that it be preserved, there is no lack of enthusiasm for it.

The fifth GP de Paris Historique for vintage vehicles in April was a memorial to the late Jacques Potherat

There were masses of Morgans, opposed by two Sandfords and three Darmonts, 16 Amilcars and three Salmsons, and examples of Bedelia, EHP, Rally, Lombard and Anzani among the smaller French makes.

Well-known French, Italian and British cars were there, of course, and there was a class for ‘Dames de Montlhery’, 48 entries. The races, over one of the well-preserved very steep bankings, were fun and a good time was evident, from competitors and those who merely looked on.
