A fact-packed soft-cover book which even the more expert should find highly informative is “Which? Way To Run Your Car”. It comes from the well-known Consumers’ Association in conjunction with Hodder & Stoughton and covers almost all aspects of choosing a new or used car, with amusing illustrations to leven the text. The cost of it all, what to look for, advertising claims debunked, insurance and servicing methods, how to cheer up a car, learning to drive, taking a car abroad, Police methods, etc are but some of the subjects covered in this 160-page “Which?” production. — WB
