Miniatures News, July 1968
The most recent Corgi motor miniatures to come to hand are Nos. 275 and 506. The former is a 3¾-in. replica of the Rover 2000TC, fitted with detachable wheels and those Corgi “Golden Jacks” mentioned in a previous issue. The detail work is extensive, down to the twin-carburetter “engine”, TC motif and a spare wheel on the boot under a detachable cover. A remarkable feature of the model is a Triplex glass roof, which should please tomato growers and John Ogle. The price is 7s. The other new Corgi is a 3¼-in. Sunbeam Imp Panda police car, priced at 6s. 3d. It has police signs, the front one rather improbably replacing a registration number.—W. B.
