THE INTERNATIONAL TROPHY

In our June issue a letter concerning the International Trophy appeared over the signature of J. Malcolm McIntyre, who stated that the promoters of the race-the Junior Car Club-” were determined that a foreign car should win.” To those who follow motor sport, and in particular to those who appreciate the reputation which the Junior Car Club has gained in organizing races of an international character, the allegation was obviously absurd, but in view of the

fact that Mr. McIntyre’s statement may have created a wrong impression we hasten to express our regret and to emphasize the view that the regulations for the International Trophy were framed with absolute fairness and impartiality.
