Mika turns manager

Mika Hakkinen has decided to begin a new career as a driver manager. The two-time Formula 1 World Champion has joined the ACES Management Group in order to find and help young driving talent.

Having teamed up with his old manager Didier Coton, Häkkinen says that he’s excited about the new venture and believes he can take drivers to the top. “From my own experience I understand what it takes to arrive at the top and how vital it is to a sportsman’s career to have a close group of trusted professionals around him,” he said.

“I can’t wait to share what I learned winning two titles with ambitious young drivers.”
