Castle Combe to host classics

Building on its first classic race weekend in 2008, Castle Combe has unveiled plans for a week of events in 2009.

The new ‘Classic Week’ at the Wiltshire track will open on Saturday June 6 with the annual classic action day, featuring the 40th anniversary of the Ford Capri starring Vince Woodman in his ‘Cologne Capri’.

Mid-week events will include visits from tours and a classic track day, before a race weekend (June 13/14) featuring Masters Top Hat and HSCC action. The event will be repeated in 2010, the circuit’s 60th anniversary year.
