Chaparral's hall of fame

Jim Hall, creator of the Chaparral cars, will be the honorary chairman for the eighth Annual Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance, held over the weekend of March 7-9 in Florida.

“We will have many of Jim Hall’s Chaparrals on the show field,” said Amelia’s chairman and founder, Bill Warner. “Jim makes very few public appearances, so as soon as he agreed to serve as our honoree, I was thrilled!”

For the first time in its history, the event will feature two marques, with Corvette celebrating its 50th anniversary and Buick its 100th.
