Bellm on the loose

Former World C2 Sportscar champion Ray BelIm has switched to historic rallying and is now planning to contest the Safari Retro next year as well as the British Historic Rally Championship.

“These days I just do motorsport events that I enjoy,” said Bellm, whose Mk1 Ford Escort BDA was a works test car, driven by Roger Clark and Hannu Mikkola.

“The biggest thing is getting my head round driving on gravel,” he said after tackling a couple of forest events in 2002.
