Rally GB stays put

Britains World Rally Championship round will remain based in South Wales for at least four more years and will be sponsored by the Welsh Development Agency.

The event will now be called the Wales Rally GB in a multi-million pound sponsorship deal.

Having just completed three years running from Cardiff, the event will stay in the region, despite politicians calling for the investment to bring benefit to the whole of Wales rather than just the south.
