Members of the VCC are restoring two 1901 De Dion Bouton quadricycles, a 1903 Stevens Duryea, a 1906 single-cylinder Rover, and a 1915 20/25 hp Overland.

Texi productions in France has made a video of the careers of racing drivers Robert Benoist and Charles Grover-Williams; apply 01-45-02-17-57. The Bentley DC has made a colour video of its 70th Anniversary Tour to Le Mans this year.

Reg Nice has won this year’s Bert Hadley Memorial Cup, an event organised by the Pre-War A7 Club and involving 12 rounds at different circuits. Reg used his well-known Ulster A7 and scored 76.78 points, against David Brown, last year’s winner with 70.32 points, using the Broadley-Austin. Third place went to Gary Clare in his 1934 A7 Special, with 70.00 points.

Austin history and activities are well reported in a number of Club magazines, of which the glossy quarterly The Vintage Austin looks after the Vintage Austin Register. The 750MC has its own monthly publication and Year Book, and the A7 Clubs Association special publication has a fine colour-spread of the Gaydon Anniversary Meeting in its current issue.
