Good Vintage racing

Please find enclosed our copy of your petition, containing the signatures of 30 of our friends and colleagues.

We would like, through the pages of your magazine, to express our thanks to the VSCC, for the excellent sport we enjoyed at their Cadvvell Park meeting. No doubt the spectator turnout was a little disappointing from their point of view, but we enjoyed one of the best day’s motor racing that we can remember. We often did not know who was driving what, or who was leading, the public address having failed in some parts of the circuit, but that did not detract from the sound and spectacle of those wonderful old cars. We enjoyed every minute and many thanks are due to the entrants, the organisers and all concerned.

We are in the situation of having a 300-mile round trip to either Cadwell or Donington to see our racing, but we do not regret a single step of the way. All being well we will be there again next season.
