Just before Christmas membership had reached a total of 206. It should be emphasised that subscriptions paid last year run to the end of 1968. We regret to have to record the death, at 68, of W. L. Kenning who owned a 1923 s.v. Riley tourer from new and who raced an A.B.C. two-seater at Brooklands in 1922. His son is in possession of an extremely interesting family album containing many photographs of Brooklands cars from 1921-1924. The Singer O.C. is rebuilding the ex-Spikins sprint Singer Bantam which made a rather ineffectual appearance at the Track in 1936, driven by Basil de Mattos.
