An Inexpensive Boat

We have received details of the new Satellite motor dinghy which is scheduled for bulk production. Made from laminates of Mitchell Smith’s Polymaster polyester resin 312A, this dinghy is 9 ft. 6 in. long, has an inboard Vincent engine and is intended as a working boat, being strongly constructed. It can easily be carried on the roof of a car and the engine, which weighs only 30 lb., can be detached by undoing four nuts. The price is quoted as the modest one of £89, including engine. With so many motorists taking to the water there should lie considerable interest in the Satellite dinghy, which is made by Wemyss Woodhouse, Ltd., Talbot Road, Rickmansworth, Herts. — W. B.
