AC Mods
AC Cars, Ltd, announce a change in specification on their six-cylinder engine, which has been continued with only minor alterations since its introduction in 1919.
A new-type damping device is now fitted to the front end of the crankshaft, this replacing the flywheel damper which has been in use for many years. This new design requires no attention, and will, therefore, reduce servicing requirements. This modification commences on engine No UMB 1802-W.
The braking system is also modified from chassis EH 1806, in that the Girling hydro-mechanical type is now replaced with Girling hydraulic brakes on all four wheels.
