This “annual” is a most attractive publication, invaluable to motorists who wish to get the two and three-wheeler world into clearer perspective. It covers the British machines of 1952 in sections devoted to bicycle power-units, autocycles and lightweights under 200 cc, touring motor-cycles over 200 cc, and competition models. Each different model is illustrated (over 110 photographs altogether), the art paper used throughout enhancing the photographs, and a detailed specification, with dimensions and performance figures faces each picture. There is a supplement of extra up-to-date information and an attractive detail touch is the reproduction of maker’s badges, these appearing even for the bicycle power-unit manufacturers.

In addition a dealers’ directory, an index, and articles on the Motor Cycle Show, TT races, the RAC-ACU Learner Driver Scheme, and the ACU are included. Warm praise indeed for a well conceived reference work.
