If the ” Monthly Review ” is anything to go by, the Ulster Automobile Club pays considerable attention to the sporting side of motoring in Ireland. Reports of trials, rallies and races feature in the pages of the ” Review,” and, as with us, motoring Ireland is just at present in the thick of the dinner and dance season. The result of the Club’s Autumn Trial

shows that J. C. Taylor’s Standard won an arduous event, with Fleming’s M.G. second and Gallaugher’s Singer third, the Team Prize going to a Singer-TriumphAustin team. The Ladies prize was won by Mrs. Wright’s Riley, and there were 28 entrants, such sporting ” marques ” as Alvis, Lagonda, M.G., and Singer apparently being popular with Irish enthusiasts.

The ” Review ” contains a touring article, news of important racing successes and results, and, in the current issue, a lengthy article on the Olympia Show. Altogether an interesting little publication, which should be on the mailing-list of everyone who is concerned with the welfare of motor sport in Ireland.
